Vegetarian Teriyaki Burgers
These feeder dish Burgers ar full of macromolecule and exploding with flavor!
Ingredients
For Burgers:- 1/4 cup quinoa
- 3 tsp further virgin oil, divided
- 1 tiny onion, finely cut
- 1 tiny red pepper, finely cut
- 1 tbsp minced recent ginger
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 massive clove, minced
- 1 (15-oz.) will chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 massive egg
- 1 tbsp cut cilantro
- 1 scallion, finely cut (green half only)
- 4 pineapple slices (sliced 1/2-inch thick)
For dish Sauce:
- 2 tbsp soy
- 1 tbsp fruit juice
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp grated recent ginger
- 1 tiny clove, minced
- 6 tbsp mayo
For Serving:
- 4 burger buns
- lettuce
Instructions
Prepare burgers:- Bring atiny low pot of salt-cured water to a boil.
- Add quinoa and cook till tender, regarding 10-15 minutes. Drain and put aside.
- Heat 1 tsp. oil during a tiny cooking pan over medium-high heat.
- Saute onion and red pepper in oil till softened and brunette.
- Add ginger, salt, crushed red pepper, and garlic to pan.
- Cook till fragrant , then take away pan from heat.
- Place chickpeas during a massive bowl; mash till sleek.
- Add quinoa, cooked veggies, flour, and egg to chickpeas and blend well.
- Stir in cilantro and scallion.
- Shape mixture into four burger patties.
- Heat remaining a pair of tsp. oil during a massive cooking pan over medium heat.
- Add pineapple slices and burgers to cooking pan.
- Cook burgers and pineapple till brunette on one facet, then flip and cook on the opposite facet. take away from heat.
Prepare dish sauce:
