Christmas Cookie Pops

I gotta tell you, though, this can be terribly simple, and if you're like ME and you suck at decorating cookies, you may be extremely pleased with the general results.

But 1st you're getting to got to get some cold cooky dough. It’s that point of year, it’s too busy, and you'll be able to undoubtedly escape with factory-made cookie dough!


Next, you may got to get some cookie pop sticks, then cookie cutters, foodstuff gel, whipped icing, or coloured whipped icing, and sprinkles.

You will need:

Flour for dusting work space
1 roll (16.5 oz) Pillsbury® cold Sugar Cookies
Cookie Sticks
Whipped soft White ice
Food Color Gel, I used red and inexperienced
Sprinkles, Edible Glitter, crushed Peppermint


Directions:


  • Preheat kitchen appliance to 350°F.
  • Line cooking utensil with parchment paper.
  • Sprinkle flour on surface.
  • Roll out the dough to 1/4-inch thickness and cut out Christmas formed cookies.
  • Place on unlubricated cookie sheets.
  • Place the cookie stick on prime of the formed cookie dough.
  • Gently press it down, however not all the manner through.
  • Take a touch little bit of dough from the leftover scraps and pat it over the stick, only enough to hide.
  • Bake eight to ten minutes or till light-weight golden brown.
  • Remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks.
  • Cool fully.
  • Take the ice and place a couple of tablespoons of it during a little dish.
  • Drop some foodstuff on prime of the ice and stir; keep adding foodstuff till desired color.
  • Smooth the ice on prime of the cookies with a table knife.
  • Sprinkle with glitter, peppermint, chocolate sprinkles, etc…
